There's a New Sprayer in Your Future

Posted by Sprayer Depot on Mon, Oct 24, 2016

Sprayer Depot offers a wide variety of commercial sprayers to meet many spray application needs. From popular pest control and landscaper sprayer configurations to custom-built sprayers, there are many options to choose from.  Let's take a closer looks at one some of the sprayer models made by Kings Sprayers, one of the top brands.

3-Point Hitch Sprayers

A 3-point hitch sprayer is designed to be hitched to a tractor or other largeKings Sprayers 3 Point Hitch Sprayer.jpg piece of machinery,  in order to spray large areas like golf courses, athletic fields, pastures and lawns. This is an excellent choice to complement your existing equipment, and can be used to spray pesticides, fertilizers, fungicides and more.

Skid Sprayers

A skid sprayer is designed without wheels so it can be fixed in place. It's ideal for the back of a  trailer, truck bed, boat, KingsSpayers_100_Gallon_Skid_Sprayer.jpgor even a train. The compact design is appealing when extra space is needed for the storage of additonal equipment. You can further maximize this flexibility by purchasing a custom-built sprayer so that it fits your exact needs and configuration requirements.

Pull Behind Sprayers

A pull behind sprayer can be hooked up to a variety of different vehicles. You can opt for an easily maneuverable two-wheel model or a stable, durable four-wheel model. Kings Sprayers 4 Wheel Sprayer.jpgTwo-wheel sprayers are excellent for spraying large-areas like sizable lawns, pastures, golf courses and athletic fields. Four-wheel sprayers are ideal for tight spaces due to their pivoting front axle and T-handle.

Spot Sprayers

Spot sprayers are an excellent choice for small areas, such as residential yards or work areas. Kings Sprayers Spot Sprayer.jpgThey are commonly used to spray along fence lines, buildings and, of course, to spot spray brush.

Custom-Built Sprayers

Custom-built sprayers are made from the ground up to meet exact specifications. Our team of knowledgeable Customer Service Technicians can help determine the most affordable solutions and answer any questions. Some examples of common modifications include:

  • Extra hose reels
  • Switching a manual hose to an electric version
  • Selecting a different spray gun
  • Using a bigger or smaller tank
  • Changing the tank's orientation on the frame
  • Adding another line on the suction side
  • Switching from a gas engine to electric start

Get The Right Sprayer For The Job

Posted by Sprayer Depot on Mon, Jun 13, 2016

There are many options in the marketplace when it comes to sprayers. Depending on your industry, Kings Sprayers.jpgdeciding which options and features to include can quickly get confusing.

However, choosing the right sprayer for your job should not be a daunting task. Whether you are jsut starting out in a new business or you are a seasoned spray applicator, there are a few things you should consider before buying new equipment. You should start by answering a couple of questions to help you determine the sprayer that best fits your needs:

  • What are you spraying? (Trees? Lawns? Golf Course?)
  • Will you be spraying by hand or using a vehicle?
  • What type of vehicle are you using to transport the sprayer?
  • What chemicals are you applying?
  • How big or small is the area you are spraying?

Once you've got answers to these questions, consider the following options:

Skid Sprayers

These sprayers are usually mounted in the back of pickup trucks or utility vehicles. Skid sprayers are popular among pest control operators and landscapers because the sprayer can easily be transported from site to site.

2-Wheel Sprayers

2-Wheel sprayers are often used when the sprayer is pulled by an ATV or another type of vehicle. They are great for large areas such as golf courses and sports fields, where a pickup truck or walking is not suitable.

4-Wheel sprayers

Since they are easy to maneuver, 4-Wheel sprayers are typically preferred by customers who are in need of a sprayer they can pull by hand. Due to the pivoting front axle and T-handle, these sprayers are ideal for use in tight areas such as greenhouses or nurseries where the sprayer can be pulled along by hand and the operator can spray hard-to-reach locations.

3-Point Hitch Sprayers

3-Point Hitch sprayers are perfect for customers who plan to hitch the sprayer to a tractor in order to spray large areas like golf courses, athletic fields, crop fields, pastures and lawns. Large areas can be sprayed, without the spray applicator having to leave the cab. Booms or boomless nozzles can be attached, depending on the application.

Spot Sprayers

Spot sprayers are the ideal equipment for spraying along fences, keeping weeds at bay and spraying other hard to reach places. They are designed to tackle smaller areas while providing more gallon capacity and a more reliable application than hand-held or backpack sprayers.
