We receive many calls and emails from customers requesting help troubleshooting the Hypro D30 diaphragm pump. In this post, we've updated some information previously published on this topic to highlight some easy-to-identify solutions.
One of the top-selling pumps at Sprayer Depot, the Hypro D30 offers low cost maintenance and almost wear-free operation which helps make it the ideal choice for a wide variety of spraying jobs. Recommended for spraying herbicides, pesticides, liquid fertilizers, and many other hard-to-handle fluids, the Hypro D30 is not only one of our top-selling pumps, but also the preferred choice for several of our small to medium-sized Kings Sprayers® models.
Properly maintaining your pump will not only increase your application efficiency but also add years of life to your equipment. Follow these easy tips to service your diaphragm pump:
1. After usage, flush the pump with clean water.
2. Hypro recommends changing oil after 40 hours of break-in operation and every three months or 500 hours, whichever comes first. Use Hypro pump oil , which is a specially formulated, high-grade, non- detergent, SAE 30 weight oil.
3. For freezing conditions, flush the pump with a 50/50 mixture of water and antifreeze.
4. Change diaphragms every 500 hours or three months, whichever comes first.
