When you think about customizing just about any piece of equipment, price is always a factor. Or so it seems. With our line of Kings Sprayers, customizing your spray equipment isn’t out of reach. Consider that we offer many existing sprayer models at Sprayer Depot. So modifications to meet your needs are totally doable. Sometimes, simple tweaks can take an off-the-shelf sprayer and make it custom-built. In the end, get the product that meets your current and future needs without breaking the bank.
Let’s take a look at three of the more popular modifications below that could benefit your business.
Does the sprayer you’ve been eyeing come with a manual hose reel? Perhaps you looked into the higher end model and felt it was out or reach or had too many bells and whistles. It is about $400 to upgrade the hose reel on most Kings Sprayers from a manual to an electric rewind hose reel. You also need a battery or other 12V power source to run it. This is food for thought when you’re thinking about daily use, convenience and just how long that hose is.
Speaking of hose length, many of the sprayers we sell at Sprayer Depot come with 150’ of high-pressure spray hose. To upgrade the hose length from 150’ to 300’ is only around $120 and could provide the tools necessary to take on larger jobs that require more hose length. Looking long-term and with business growth in mind, doubling the length of hose isn’t such a bad idea for some companies.
Arguably the heart of the sprayer, there are a variety of spray pumps that can be swapped on existing Kings Sprayers models. Of course upgrading pumps can be a little expensive, but not out of reach when you’re in the market for a new sprayer. Sprayer Depot offers an upgrade for $400 on poly headed diaphragm pumps that allow you to spray more corrosive chemicals. Another option would be to upgrade the standard roller pump to a silver series roller pump for roughly $200. The decision to upgrade your pump really boils down to what you’re spraying and determining what makes the most sense given the chemicals used.
These are just a few of the many options available when customizing your sprayer. Like we said before, why wouldn’t you want to explore getting the best sprayer for your current and future needs?
