Spray hose is an essential part of your sprayer, but it's often overlooked. It’s easy to ignore the hose when there are many other spray components to consider. However, making sure you choose the right spray hose for the job is an important step to ensure the quality of your application.

Spray hose come in a variety of materials capable of handling different liquids like pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers. It also comes in various diameters and lengths. A few other things to consider when selecting a spray hose include the spraying pressure needed, the flexibility of the hose, and temperature resistance. Our savvy and friendly Customer Service Technicians can help match you with the best type for your application.

Spray hose must be durable enough to handle different spray solutions, harsh weather conditions and rough handling. You will find three types of hoses for sale in our inventory: Suction Hose, Clear Braid Hose and High-Pressure Hose. Your sprayer likely uses one of these 3 hoses, or a combination of them.

Let’s take a closer look at each of these hoses:

Suction Hose: This type of hose is used from the tank to the pump. It is rated for low pressure so you wouldn’t see it used anywhere else but the suction side of a sprayer. The suction hose is easily identifiable by it’s clear color and PVC reinforcement which spirals through it.

Clear Braid Hose: This hose can handle higher pressure than a suction hose, however, it’s commonly used only on the bypass line and also on the discharge hose for smaller units like a spot sprayer. It is a clear hose with a braid running through it, which helps to keep the hose from kinking or twisting.

High-Pressure Hose: As the name implies, high pressure hose is rated to withstand a lot of pressure. How much will depend on the hose, but usually they are 600 or 800 psi. These type of hoses are also called discharge or spray hose and they are used directly from the discharge line to the spray gun. We stock Flextral brand spray hose which is extremely durable and made of PVC.

Don’t let an old and damaged spray hose affect your application. Whether you need hose by the foot,  or an entire roll, we've got what you need.
