Social Media Connects Us to Our Customers

Posted by Sprayer Depot on Wed, Aug 09, 2017

These days, many professional spray applicators seek information online. That's why at Sprayer Depot, we maintain a strong commitment to our social media channels. social-media.jpgBeing responsive allows us to connect with our customers and provide them with information where and when they need it.

The 140 character maximum on Twitter may seem like a limitation when it comes to tools, but the quick communication style is a perfect way to reach us about problems big or small.  It also allows us to convey important news, share cool links or updates about our business.

With lots of product images and behind-the-scenes pics, followers can easily peer inside our average days using Instagram.  Visuals are vital! And viewing a picture of a sprayer part instead of simply reading a product description can make it easier to identify the parts and equipment you need.

Looking for instructional videos? Visit our Youtube channel to see more than 30 helpful videos.  Available 24/7  these videos cover topics such as product repairs, sprayer operations and more. Of course, our expert Customer Service Technicians are available by phone, email and live chat. We're always happy to help.

With Google+ , it's easier than ever to quickly type #sprayerequipment or similar hashtagged phrases to follow topics or comment threads. Plus, with no character limits, it's a great forum to exchange information or dialogue requiring longer explanations or descriptions.

A successful Facebook page is more than simply having followers, it's about offering valuable content. Recently announced, followers can now write a review directly on a company Facebook page.  The reviews can help potential customers clients look for an objective opinion, plus provides valuable feedback for our customer service team. We're proud of our 4.7 star rating (out of 5) and work hard to maintain a high customer satisfaction rating.

We even have LinkedIn to help us with all things business.  Suppliers, distributors and any other companies know where to find us.

Still, it's not about having these platforms. It's about our customers, it's about answering the email, the phones and the chats with the best possible answers we can provide.  The better we can respond to customers, the better we are doing our jobs.  And the better we do our jobs, the more people we have to help.

5 Tips to Help You Prepare for Winter

Posted by Sprayer Depot on Mon, Nov 23, 2015

As we write this from our headquarters in Orlando, Fl., where it still feels pretty much like summer with highs in the mid-80s, many of us are really not thinking about winter time. However, we know many of our customers are already dealing with cold weather and even snow. We may not be able to share some of this hot weather with you but we can share some great tips!

Although you may not be ready to winterize your sprayer just yet, there are a few simple steps you can do today to avoid any delays when you are ready to store it for the season. We recommend five tips to help you prepare your spray equipment for the upcoming freezing temperatures.

  1. Make any necessary repairs: Go through every part of your spray equipment and check for any component that might need to be replaced or repaired. Now is the time to get every part working properly. If you need help with any repair please give us a call to schedule a repair or service appointment. We are happy to help!

  2. Clean the sprayer thoroughly: Grab a clean rag and wipe every inch of your sprayer down. Pay close attention to the inside of the tank and small parts that come in contact with oil or harsh chemicals.
  • Test the battery: If your sprayer's pump runs on battery, like one of our Kings Spot Sprayers*, make sure to test the battery and recharge it as needed.
  • Inspect your protective gear: Clean your protective gear and check for any damages that might pose a health risk next time you need to wear it.
  1. Gather product manuals: It is important to follow manufacturer recommendations when servicing your spray equipment, so make sure you are not throwing away the product manuals. When the time comes to winterize you'll have the manual handy to know exactly what you need to do. If you have misplaced your product manuals you can easily find them on our website under each product.

Are you ready to store your sprayer? Check out some of our past blog posts for tips on how to properly winterize your sprayer. Also, stay tuned for even more upcoming winterization tips by subscribing to our blog!

We Repair Sprayers!

Posted by Sprayer Depot on Fri, Feb 13, 2015

If a part breaks down on your sprayer, one of your main priorities is likely how fast you can get a replacement part to fix it and at the lowest price. Sometimes that means weighing your options – how long will it take to receive the part if you order it online? Is the repair complicated and how much time will it take to do it?  Can you get the parts and repairs done locally?

Those are all factors in the decision making process. For our friends in Florida, our retail showroom in Orlando, FL makes that quandary something they’re less likely to deliberate.

Sprayer Depot’s 23,000-square-foot showroom and warehouse located at 7800 N. Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando, FL offers a one-stop shopping experience for those looking to make a purchase, get a product repaired or who require equipment servicing. Here we’ll take a closer look at our retail showroom and customer service technicians as well as the repair services offered by our knowledgeable team.

Showroom and Customer Service:

Our customer service technicians are experts in the industry. With a combined 55 years of experience, not only do these guys have in-depth knowledge of the industry and mechanics of sprayers, but they also go through rigorous product training. Once hired, our intense training program includes product knowledge and customer service training, followed by ongoing weekly meetings and pop quizzes. You might chuckle at the quiz concept, but it keeps our guys sharp and on top of the latest tricks and trends in the field. Along with our in-house training, we also send our customer service technicians into the field to train with our suppliers like Hypro, and other large manufacturers. This gives them the chance to learn about these products firsthand.

We really do pride ourselves on being fun and easy to do business with. Whether you visit us in Orlando for repair services or purchase products online, we want to WOW people by exceeding expectations. This core value shines through when you take a peek at the feedback we receive on Bizrate and other rating sites.

Service and Repair:

One unique feature of our 23,000-square-foot showroom and warehouse is the ability to provide customers with service and repair needs. With three service bays, we can accommodate just about any repair. We use the highest quality repair parts and products to ensure your sprayer works efficiently. Our dedicated testing station is used to make sure the sprayer is functioning properly after repair work is completed so you won’t run into any issues once it leaves the shop. We also offer many of our repair tips online through instructional videos highlighted on our YouTube channel. And we’re always available to talk if you just have a question.

The next time you’re in Orlando, stop by and say hello. Check out our retail showroom and let us know what we can do to better service your needs.
