Follow the Cool Kids: See Why Sprayer Depot is the #1 Place to Buy Spray Equipment

Posted by Sprayer Depot on Mon, Nov 14, 2016

 We Strive for Perfection

Sprayer Depot is one of the top choices for spray equipment and sprayer parts in the U.S. But
what’s behind the secret to our success? There are a number of things we do better than any other spray equipment company, and these differences help us rise above our competitors.

#1: Our Customer Service

We are committed to customer service. That’s why our knowledgeable customerchoice.jpegCustomer Service Technicians work hard to make each step of the customer journey - from the order process to product support - simple and easy. We strive to "WOW" customers by exceeding expectations, like offering a variety of perks such as same-day shipping for orders placed before 5:00 PM (ET).

#2: Our Prices

One of the top reasons we remain the leading provider of spray equipment is simply our unbeatable prices. By making quality equipment cost-effective, we’ve managed to become one of the most respected names in the industry.

#3: Our Inventory

We have a massive inventory - in stock and ready to ship.  Whether you need spray tips, storage tanks, hose reels or gas engines, we've got it.  And that’s not to mention our line of commercial sprayers, Kings Sprayers, which range from spot sprayers to highway-ready trailer sprayers.

#4: Our Partnerships

We have partnered with several major manufacturers in order to offer you the best possible quality products - at unbeatable prices.  Some of the brands we carry include:

  •  Honda
  • Kings Sprayers
  • Hypro
  • Teejet
  • John Deere
  • Ace
  • Comet
  • FMC John Bean

 #5: Our Core Values

One of our core values is to "WOW customers by exceeding expectations", and we plan to keep doing so in the future. Feel free to contact us to learn more.

No One Can Beat Our New Shipping Policy!

Posted by Sprayer Depot on Wed, Nov 09, 2016

Fastest Shipping Guarantee

Place your order by 5:00 p.m. (ET) and it ships the SAME day. Guaranteed! Talk about fast shipping.....

Same Day Shipping. Guaranteed!.png

Now it's even easier for our customers to get what they need FAST because we've extended the cutoff time for our same day shipping guarantee from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (ET). No other spray equipment company offers this and it's just one of the reasons why we are the #1 choice for spray equipment and sprayer parts.

Reduce Downtime

There are many benefits to fast shipping, but reducing downtime so that customers aren't impacted by gaps in service, is probably at the top of most business owners' priority lists. Plus, by not wasting time or resources postponing jobs due to lack of equipment, businesses can operate on schedule and stay on track with customer's expectations.

We Want to WOW People

Our corporate identity is anchored by this core purpose: To WOW people by exceeding expectations. We strive for perfection in all aspects of our business and are constantly identifying areas for improvement. By extending the cutoff time for same day shipping to 5:00 p.m. (ET) customers have the entire business day to place an order - and still get it shipped the SAME day. We think that deserves a "WOW". Do you agree? Let us know what you think by leaving a note in the comment box.

Better Teamwork = Better Customer Service

Posted by Sprayer Depot on Fri, Oct 07, 2016

Focus on Teamwork:

Here at Sprayer Depot, we're focused on creating the best possible work environment where teamwork is valued and individual initiative is highly recognized. Why? because better teamwork means more collaboration and an increased focus on a solutions-oriented environment. This translates into a capacity for better customer service, resulting in a higher customer satisfaction rate.

Our offices have been closed since 2:00 p.m. Thursday due to Hurricane Matthew, and remain closed today to ensure the safety of our employees and customers. While the worst of the storm is behind us, we continue to hunker down until state officials deem it safe to be on the roads. Customers can rest assured that all shipments have gone out on time. Despite the storm, our team continues to go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that service to all customers, from Florida to California, is not interrupted.

We want to thank our customers for their patience and cooperation during this storm. We appreciate your business and will be back on track on Monday morning.

Work Hard- Play Hard:

Last Friday our team let loose at an after-work laser tag event. Not only do we work hard during the week, we play hard too!

Order Online:

It's easy to shop on our website and you can place an order at any time of the day or night. The search feature allows you to search by product name, item number or category. It's secure and easy to navigate.

If you need to speak to a Customer Service Technician, our office will reopen on Monday Oct. 10th at 8:00 a.m. (EST).

5 Tips to Keep Your Customers Happy

Contributed by Guest Blogger: Martin McGuane, owner and operator of McGuanes Landscaping and Tree Service, Enfield CT

My Approach

Call me old-fashioned but I have always felt that the best way to keep a customer happy is to give them what they want. So,if a customer calls because he has broadleaf weeds in his lawn, the best solution is to control the weeds. Or, if a customer calls and she says that her lawn has grubs, do what she wants and kill the grubs. If a lawn care customer calls and tells you his lawn is dead, and it is actually dead, give him a new lawn. Reseed his lawn if necessary.

Listen to your Customer

Now it gets tricky. You need to step back and talk things over with your customer. The most important thing when speaking with a customer is to LISTEN. This is where many service providers go wrong. Let the customer speak, without interrupting, for as long as it takes. Then you should begin to speak. This will not only help you understand the problem and find a solution, but there is also a lot of value in just allowing the customer the chance to vent.

Come up with a Solution

In the example given earlier of the customer with the dead lawn, if the lawn died due to grubs or chinch bugs the customer would feel that you are responsible. They are not the lawn experts in this example, we would reseed his lawn. In some cases we would charge the customer, often times not.

The way to keep a customer happy is to give them what they want. Many of you will think that I am crazy for suggesting that you eat the cost of labor and material for something that may not have been your fault. To this I say... look at your customers as long term investments rather than short term. You may lose money on this customer for the next few applications, but overall, both you and your customer will come out ahead in the years to come.

Avoid the “Blame Game”

Not every lawn deserves a free seed job, but every customer should be heard and their issues need to be addressed. The “Blame Game” helps no one and solves nothing. In some cases we will split the cost of the solution with the customer. This will help cover the cost of seed and labor. Charging the customer a nominal fee will help them become vested in the outcome of the lawn.

Years ago I had a customer call me to say that her lawn was dead. When I arrived on site I was greeted with an earful… the lawn was dead from chinch bugs. We had applied chinch bug control that year, but it was a very hot season with multiple generations of chinch bugs that had infested her lawn. We agreed to overseed her lawn at no charge. The seed germinated and soon the lawn looked beautiful. She has been a customer ever since and that was 25 years ago!

When Roles Are Reversed

When the roles are reversed and I’m the “customer”, nothing tops the feeling I get when I receive excellent customer service. It’s one of main factors in determining how loyal I am to a vendor, business or even a restaurant. There are many examples of companies that are well-known for their excellent customer service, such as Amazon, Apple, and State Farm just to name a few of the big ones. Sprayer Depot is an industry-specific company with a reputation for excellent customer service. Their Mission Statement is clearly stated on their website:

“… We strive to bring the customer experience to the forefront, by making the shopping experience easy for customers to find and purchase spray equipment, parts and accessories, at the most competitive prices in the industry.”

So let’s recap my tips to keep customers happy:

  1. Listen to your customer fully BEFORE speaking.
  2. Come up with a solution to the problem.
  3. Avoid the “Blame game”.
  4. Think of your customers as long-term investments, not short-term.
  5. Give your customers what they want.

Why 2015 Was Sprayer Depot's Best Year Yet

Posted by Sprayer Depot on Fri, Jan 01, 2016

It’s time to celebrate the new year and what better way to do it than to look back at how far we’ve Sprayerdepot_NewYears2016-2.jpg
come in the last year. 2015 was a transformative year filled with awesome new changes, a few challenges and numerous accomplished goals.

As we begin our 2016 roadmap, we continue to focus on one of our top goals: to not only meet customers expectations but exceed them by aiming to WOW customers with our service, product quality and prices. Our mission has always been to be the industry’s number one source for spray equipment, parts and accessories. We promise to continue to work hard to remain your preferred choice for all your spraying needs.

Let’s take a look at some of the highlights that made 2015 Sprayer Depot’s best year yet!

2015 Year in Review – Quarterly Highlights

We started the year by attending the 2015 TPIE Landscape Trade Show where we got to meet and mingle with customers and industry experts alike. We also announced the launch of our highly anticipated Kings Sprayers® QuickShip Program™ which guarantees that qualified Kings Sprayers models ship the same day you place an order.*

Spring rolled in strong with the expansion of our manufacturing space. The increased footprint of our warehouse meant we could not only double our production but also offer expanded repair and maintenance services. We now maintain approximately 23,000-sq ft of warehouse space at 7800 N Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando Florida.

With our new full-time spray equipment repair and service department in full swing, we focused on transforming our showroom to a retail one-stop shop. Our outdoor facade also changed with new, bigger and better signage. We were also part of the Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association (FNGLA) 2015 Landscape Show and enjoyed meeting current customers and networking with new ones.

As the sprayer season slows down during winter time, we took advantage of the downtime to share a variety of sprayer maintenance posts and helpful tips to keep you and your spray equipment in top shape and ready for spring. We also enjoyed a few days off during the Holidays to spend with our families and friends.

As we look forward to what’s next for us in 2016, we want to thank you for your continued business. We can’t wait to see what this new year will bring!
