Winter is Coming on December 21st

Posted by Sprayer Depot on Fri, Dec 11, 2015

Winter is set to begin on December 21st, however, just a peek outside the window or a stroll down 100GallonDe-Ice-2.jpgthe street tells a different story for a lot of folks around the country. Many of you are already dealing with freezing temperatures and piles of snow. So even if winter hasn’t “officially” started, we thought we would highlight a few of our previous posts that will help you and your sprayer handle the cold just a bit easier.

1) Perform an end of season calibration.

You should calibrate your sprayer one last time before you store it. We previously posted an 8 step guide to make this process as easy as possible. Another popular tool to consider for your calibrating arsenal should be the Sprayer Calibration Calculator App.

2) Winterizing Will Save You Time Next Spring.

Spend a little bit of time today servicing your sprayer so you can be up and running in no time when busy season starts again. We have many useful posts that will guide you through the easy process of winterizing your spray equipment. Check some of our most popular posts below!

3) Consider a De-Icing Sprayer .

Take a look at the Kings Sprayers® 100 Gallon De-Icing Skid Sprayer. This is an ideal sprayer to mount on the back of a utility vehicle, and is used to spray de-icer. Different uses for the skid like watering and dust control makes this sprayer useful all year round! For pricing and full specs please visit the link below.

3 Things to Consider When Buying a Sprayer

Posted by Sprayer Depot on Thu, Oct 01, 2015

3ThingsToConsider

Buying new equipment is always an important part of any business. However, making big purchases, like spray equipment, can also be stressful.  After all, you want to choose wisely where you'll spend your hard-earned money. You want to make sure that you are buying high quality and reliable spray equipment that will not only improve your application, but hold its value long-term.

To take some of the guesswork out of the puchasing process, we've listed the top 3 things to consider when buying a sprayer.

1.) Ask for Advice

Whether you are operating the sprayer yourself, or buying it for your technicians, always make sure to ask for advice. Make a list of things you absolutely need in your equipment. Ask other technicians also working with the equipment what they like (or don't) about the current sprayer and what they think could improve. Don't forget to always ask potential vendors what recommendations they have based on your type of application. Make sure to gather as much information as possible to identify your must-have requirements.

2.) Look Beyond the Price Tag

Choosing quality over price should be a given, but we all love a good deal, so price is always a big consideration. Buyer beware, sometimes a seemingly great deal ends up not being a deal at all when the equipment quickly breaks down or doesn't perform as expected. It is important to keep in mind that purchasing a new sprayer is an investment, and you want to make sure your investment will increase your business value.

3.) Factor in Support

Consider if parts and accessories for your chosen sprayer are readily available in case it needs to be serviced or repaired. We have a huge inventory of sprayer parts and offer same-day shipping on many of our items because we understand how important it is to have the parts you need FAST, in order to minimize downtime. Don't forget to pay attention to the customer support you receive while inquiring about a product. Are they friendly and knowledgeable? Can you call back with questions after the purchase? We pride ourselves on having the best Customer Service Technicians in the industry, available by phone, email and even live chat. If you need assistance before, during or after your purchase, we're here to help.

Your due diligence will ensure that you choose the right sprayer for your needs!

Lucky for you, we are here to help! We've told you all about our recent Repair and Service Department expansion, and now we want to give you a look behind the scenes at this extended menu of convenient and affordable new services.

Our initial diagnostic fee is only $75.00 for the first hour.  This means that if your repair only takes an hour then you don't pay anything over the initial fee (plus parts). We will also give you a price and estimated repair time (if it will take longer than an hour). We pride ourselves in providing quality work within a reasonable amount of time so that you can reduce your downtime and maximize productivity.

Let's face it, time is money and we want to make the equipment repair process seamless for you. With that in mind, the majority of our repairs are done the same day! If you happen to have a very complex repair then it might take us 24-48 hours but rest assured, that is not the norm. We also accept drop-offs without an appointment but keep in mind that we recommend setting up a time so you can get your repair done fast. Scheduling a repair is easy. Just call us at 800-228-0905 and we'll make sure you're taken care of as soon as possible.

Downtime is businesses' number one enemy; it costs money, wastes time and it can cost you customers. We want to help you avoid any long interruptions in the service you provide to your customers.

If you did buy your sprayer from us, we'll even coordinate with the pump and engine manufacturers on warranty issues so you'll receive prompt and hassle-free replacement of warrantied items.

We advise customers to give our Customer Service Technicians a call so we can provide you with a repair time frame and set you up with an appointment. If time is not an issue you can drop by and we’ll get the repair done as soon as possible. Although time varies depending on the type of repair, drop offs are generally handled within 24-48 hours.

Some of the most common types of problems we see are pumps that won't start or shut-off, ruptured diaphragms, clogged strainers, leaks or no discharge. If your sprayer is simply not functioning as it should, we'll inspect and make sure to pinpoint the cause and recommend the best course of action. You can trust us to use the best, high-quality parts and products for your repair.

Sprayer Depot : Investing for Growth by Increasing Our Manufacturing Capacity

Posted by Sprayer Depot on Fri, May 22, 2015

If you’ve visited our Orlando warehouse and showroom recently, it may come as no surprise that we’ve expanded our footprint. As one of the nation’s largest suppliers of professional spray equipment, we continue to invest for growth and this increase is just one example.

As we shared in this month’s Monthly Deal Finder e-newsletter, we’ve increased our manufacturing capacity and more than doubled our production and repair space. All to meet the growing needs of our customers.

Overall, the Institute of Supply Managers reported that economic activity in the manufacturing sector expanded in April and that the overall economy grew for the month. This increase is partly due to low energy costs, good business conditions, and strong production orders.

SprayerDepot_1

“It’s common for customers to drive from as far away as Miami or Jacksonville for our services,” said Sprayer Depot Sales Manager Brandon Grossman.  “This manufacturing investment is great for the Central Florida community as well as our growing customer base who we’ve served for more than 40 years.”

We’ve also expanded services with our dedicated 7,000-square-foot shop. This new space is designed and outfitted to enlarge and enhance sprayer production and repair while also allowing us to increase stock inventory.

And that’s just the start of it. We now maintain approximately 23,000-square-feet of warehouse space at our location - 7800 N Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando, FL. Soon you’ll see some changes to our showroom as well. There we have plans to increase not only the inventory we carry online, but to also provide our customers with complimentary products to meet the needs and desires of those traveling from afar.

New Expansion to Keep up with Increased Sprayer Demand

Posted by Sprayer Depot on Wed, Mar 18, 2015

We’re excited to share a little something we’ve been working on behind-the-scenes. As one of the nation’s largest suppliers of professional spray equipment, and with more than 30,000 products available for purchase online- things were getting a bit tight around our warehouse space. So we're pleased to inform you that Sprayer Depot has more than doubled its production and repair space!

We’re now maintaining 23,000-square-feet of warehouse space that houses our retail showroom and production & repair offices at 7800 North Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando, FL 32810. This expansion came as we were busting at the seams providing a growing number of customers with custom-made sprayers and servicing existing sprayers. Our new production and repair shop now takes up a dedicated 7,000-square-foot area that’s been designed and outfitted to enlarge and enhance sprayer production and repair. On top of that, this extra room to breath is allowing us to increase stock inventory, which will be music to the ears of our customers.

“We took on more space and are investing in better facilities to make better sprayers,” stated Brandon Grossman, Sales Manager with Sprayer Depot in a prepared statement.

Here’s a glimpse of the build-out in progress. We expect to be fully up and running at the end of March. Stay tuned as we’ll share more about the progress from our headquarters.

We Repair Sprayers!

Posted by Sprayer Depot on Fri, Feb 13, 2015

If a part breaks down on your sprayer, one of your main priorities is likely how fast you can get a replacement part to fix it and at the lowest price. Sometimes that means weighing your options – how long will it take to receive the part if you order it online? Is the repair complicated and how much time will it take to do it?  Can you get the parts and repairs done locally?

Those are all factors in the decision making process. For our friends in Florida, our retail showroom in Orlando, FL makes that quandary something they’re less likely to deliberate.

Sprayer Depot’s 23,000-square-foot showroom and warehouse located at 7800 N. Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando, FL offers a one-stop shopping experience for those looking to make a purchase, get a product repaired or who require equipment servicing. Here we’ll take a closer look at our retail showroom and customer service technicians as well as the repair services offered by our knowledgeable team.

Showroom

Showroom and Customer Service:

Our customer service technicians are experts in the industry. With a combined 55 years of experience, not only do these guys have in-depth knowledge of the industry and mechanics of sprayers, but they also go through rigorous product training. Once hired, our intense training program includes product knowledge and customer service training, followed by ongoing weekly meetings and pop quizzes. You might chuckle at the quiz concept, but it keeps our guys sharp and on top of the latest tricks and trends in the field. Along with our in-house training, we also send our customer service technicians into the field to train with our suppliers like Hypro, and other large manufacturers. This gives them the chance to learn about these products firsthand.

We really do pride ourselves on being fun and easy to do business with. Whether you visit us in Orlando for repair services or purchase products online, we want to WOW people by exceeding expectations. This core value shines through when you take a peek at the feedback we receive on Bizrate and other rating sites.

Service and Repair:

One unique feature of our 23,000-square-foot showroom and warehouse is the ability to provide customers with service and repair needs. With three service bays, we can accommodate just about any repair. We use the highest quality repair parts and products to ensure your sprayer works efficiently. Our dedicated testing station is used to make sure the sprayer is functioning properly after repair work is completed so you won’t run into any issues once it leaves the shop. We also offer many of our repair tips online through instructional videos highlighted on our YouTube channel. And we’re always available to talk if you just have a question.

The next time you’re in Orlando, stop by and say hello. Check out our retail showroom and let us know what we can do to better service your needs.
