You’ll often find Keith jamming out to music while he works to ensure shipments leave the warehouse quickly and accurately. As Shipping Lead he plays a vital role in maintaining efficiency and is a large part of our Kings Sprayers Quickship™ Program, particularly our ability to turn around shipments within the same day. When he’s not shipping spray equipment though, you’ll often catch Keith on the way to the beach with his dog, a German Shepard/Aussie mix. We sat down with him this week to share some insights for this Employee Spotlight. Hope you enjoy catching up with Keith.
Name: Keith Wissig
Title: Shipping Lead at Sprayer Depot
Q: What’s your favorite song or one that’s stuck in your head?
A: #34 by Dave Matthews Band
Q: What is the last book you read?
A: Lone Survivor by Marcus Luttrell
Q: Do you have an inspirational quote you live by?
A: “If you're white and you're wrong, then you're wrong; if you're black and you're wrong, you're wrong. People are people. Black, blue, pink, green - God make no rules about color; only society make rules where my people suffer, and that why we must have redemption and redemption now.” – Bob Marley
Q: Ok, if you were a superhero, with a sprayer as your secret weapon, what would be your magic power?
A: Mine would be a memory loss component, and natural rejuvenating application. That way we could actually teach people the most natural way to do things. The beauty is that most people wouldn’t need to be shown anything. It would just come naturally.
Q: Will you tell us something most people don’t know about you?
A: Most people don’t know that I played little league baseball for 9 years
Q: Care to share the best tip for someone in the sprayer industry?
A: If you have ANY sprayer needs, (parts etc.) choose Sprayer Depot :)
Q: What’s the best part of joining the Sprayer Depot team?
A: It was a fresh start for me and I really feel that this team is unstoppable at this point, minor and major adjustments along the way, (like every business) and we’ve all adjusted well. I look forward to seeing where we go from here.
