During the busy summer season, it's easy to overlook spray equipment maintenance. However, to keep your equipment running smoothly all year round, it's a good idea to run through this quick summer maintenance checklist.

• Strainers: Check your strainer to make sure it's clean and unclogged. While this might seem like a "no-brainer", it's often overlooked by even large companies with fleets of trucks and multiple sprayer units. 

• Oil: Make sure to change your oil regularly; if it's dark or contains floating debris it's probably time for an oil change!

• Hoses: Hoses take a lot of wear-and-tear but they aren't made to last forever. Inspect hoses for leaks or cracks and replace as-needed. It's a good idea to keep extra hose on hand to avoid downtime.
